Soul Woman
Soul Woman is a creative ritual space for female healing. One of its regular offerings is our online sacred circle. During these gatherings you will be invited to connect with your body as temple, to your quiet self, to your authentic voice vibrating within your inner and outer space as we, together, connect through the web, “the web of life.” In the intimacy of the moment shared we create space to find the clarity of self, the Soul.
Open to all women with a desire to find a ritual space of connection in their lives through sacred dancing, somatic embodiment, chanting, drawing, creative writing and sharing.
Meeting the Dark
“Without negating the light, we reclaim the dark: the fertile earth where the hidden seed lies unfolding, the unseen power that rises within us… We reclaim the lost parts of ourselves we have shoved down into the dark. Instead of enlightenment, we begin to speak of deepening, of getting down instead of getting high.” — Starhawk
“For each of us as women, there is a dark place within where hidden and growing our true spirit rises… These places of possibility within ourselves are dark because they are ancient and hidden; they have survived and grown strong through darkness. Within these places, each one of us holds an incredible reserve of creativity and power, of unexamined and unrecorded emotion and feeling. The woman’s place of power within each of us is neither white nor surface; it is dark, it is ancient, and it is deep” — Audre Lorde

Voices of the Soul Women
A Ritual of Connection
Soul Woman sessions have anchored my world of imagination bringing possibilities to fruition. Creativity has flowed from bones, muscles, sinews to fingertips, to page, to something quite tangible in my lived life.
The ritual of connecting with others, seeing and being seen and witnessed creates safety for movement, sound, voice, dance and unfolding and release.
The surprise in realising the body’s innate wisdom delights my spirit as I find resources within to support my daily life. Finally, artwork and creative writing come to meet inner experience with synchronicity and tenderness.
This deep therapeutic journey has richness, realness and authenticity at its core. It’s a sacred space in which to lay down roots for personal and collective engagement and I treasure that!
